Shipping & Returns

Havana Organics delivers through Australia Post. 

Shipping to be calculated in cart.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).

What are the expected delivery times?

Delivery using regular post generally takes between 2 – 10 business days to arrive depending on your postcode and location. If your postcode is in a regional area, deliveries may be received within 10 working days. 

Delivery using express post generally takes between 1 – 3 business days to arrive depending on where you live. Although this may be longer if you live outside the Australia Post express network. 

Once Havana Organics receives your order online, your item/s will be posted within 2 business days. We will notify you of shipment and give you a tracking number by email. 

Delivery times may vary. Delivery is also subject to stock availability. Weekends and Public holidays may delay delivery.

Havana Organics will notify you within 48 hours if an item you have ordered is out of stock which may affect your delivery time.

Customers will also be notified within 48 hours if your order cannot be fulfilled for some reason.

Havana Organics is committed to protecting your privacy. We’ve developed this privacy policy to explain how we manage the personal information that we collect.
 
The types of information that we may collect include:
 
1. Contact information (such as name, address, email address) Financial information (such as credit card details)*
2. Health information (such as on the rare event someone might suffer an adverse reaction to a product)
3. And if you register with us and/or purchase products through our website, we will collect information about your purchases and activity on the website. 
 
We collect this information to provide you with the products and services that you order. We may also be required by law to collect some personal information from you.
 
Havana Organics will only use your personal information as it is permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

3. To maintain or update your account with us
4. To improve our website and systems
5. To provide you with information about our products, events and other promotional information 
 
When you provide your email address, you give your consent for Havana Organics to use your email address to contact you for the above purposes.
 
We will not sell, rent or loan any identifiable information about our customers to any third party. Sometimes for us to properly conduct our services we may disclose your personal information that we collect to other persons or organisations such as our IT providers and/or mail houses, data management and security.

To the extent required under the Privacy Act, Havana Organics will take reasonable steps to:
 
1. Protect the personal information that we have from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
2. Where allowed by law, destroy personal information no longer needed for any purpose that is permitted under the Privacy Act.

*Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard. When collecting credit card information the software encrypts your information in the transfer so others cannot access it. Your credit card details are removed from our system once your purchases have been dispatched.
 
Cookies

Your web browser will create a small file known as a cookie to identify your computer when visiting our website. We will not use the cookie to extract any personal information from your computer. Havana Organics will use this cookie to keep track of your shopping cart.

These Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are effective from March 2021. If we modify our Terms and Conditions we will post the updated policies on our website and note the date. We therefore encourage you to revisit our policies from time to time.

CANDLE SAFETY & CARE

We want you to enjoy every second of your candle. We have compiled the following safety and candle care instructions to ensure you gain the maximum pleasure and longevity from your candle experience.

Candle Safety Instructions

​

  • Place your candle on a stable heat-resistant surface before burning.

  • Never burn your candle on or near anything that could catch fire. Keep away from drafts, water & moisture.

  • Always ensure wicks are upright and in the middle of the candle. Do not allow the wicks to float to the side of the vessel as this could lead to the glass overheating.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Ensure candle is completely extinguished before leaving the room.

  • Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.

  • Do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time.

  • Do not allow your candle to burn to the very base of the vessel. Cease burning when there is 10mm of solid wax left at the base of the candle.

  • Do not touch your burning candle or move it when the wax is liquid.

Candle Care Instructions

​

  • Always ensure your candles wicks are trimmed to 5mm before each burn.

  • When you first burn your candle, allow the wax to pool evenly to the edge of the vessel. This will ensure an even burn and maximum fragrance delivery every time you use your candle.

  • Store your candle in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

  • When the candle can no longer be burned, remove the residue wax by placing the glass in hot water. This will soften and lift the remaining wax. Your vessel can now be used for a multitude of purposes in your home, including; a vase for your fresh flowers, make-up brushes, drinking glass, a home for succulents, or a tealight holder.
